Childrens Ministries

Our mission for the Children’s Ministry at Harvest is to provide a nurturing and caring place where children can experience and come to understand Christ’s love for them as well as the world around them. At the same time children are being engaged in a biblical foundation of God’s Word through Bible-based teaching by a team of caring workers.

We currently use a curriculum published by Lifeway called Bible Teaching for Kids starting in the preschool area and going through fifth grade. Using the same curriculum enables parents with multiple children to be able to discuss the same Bible passage with their children away from the church and throughout the week. The curriculum uses a variety of teaching methods and strategies such as missions, music, crafts and games. The Children’s Ministry believes the most important thing is prayer, which is connected to the mission of Harvest.
